iPhone 4.0 Wishlist
Over the past week the launch of Android 2.0 got me thinking about what I feel is necessary for iPhone 4.0 to have to stay on top. As it stands right now, from an avid iPhone user and someone whose invested literally hundreds of dollars in apps, Android is winning. So without any further hesitation my iPhone 4.0 Must Have Feature List…
Google Navigation. Let Google do whatever it wants Apple. If it wants to incorporate latitude into the maps app do it as long as they bring the very same navi-app as on Android 2.0 to the system.
Open up and make spotlight better. One of the glaring lags features wise on the iPhone is integrated search. I want location results from spotlight integrated into maps; I want google search results; I want to be able to search apps like Omnifocus or even say Grooveshark from spotlight.
Widgets. I was thinking that widgets can replace the iPod popup. They could also be a substitute for multitasking.
Integrated MMS/SMS/Jabber/AIM app. Something akin to what the Pre has along with the facebook status in address book. Don’t worry you won’t be stepping on Beejives toes they’ll offer way more services and features for power users.
FIX THE APP STORE! I think we all know what that’s about.
Make the lockscreen useful. New emails, chats, etc…. Maybe some sort of link into widgets.
That’s it. Not too much. How about you?

The game I’m most looking forward to. Battlefield Bad Company 2. Def gonna have to take a day off for that one.
Let Me Tell You A Tale

Let me tell you a little tale about how incompetent government is. There is one thing that government does well and thats wage war, even then government really doesn’t do that; politicians thankfully don’t run wars, generals and soldiers do. Let me give you an example of retarded government or incompetent government whatever your political correctness meter allows. In the past 3 days I have watched 3 different stoplights in Charleston go into “safe-mode” where the intersection starts blinking because there is a fault. 3 times, in 3 days. Thats beyond coincedience or accident. Thats a record of neglect, mismanagement, and… incompetence. And people, thats just a stoplight; you know lights, wire, pressure triggers. Do you really think that government can be trusted to run healthcare for 360 million? “Well what about medicare and government employees they’ve got great healthcare” Sure maybe but thats not 360 million people its much less than that.
This will be a disaster. Thankfully I don’t personally need healthcare because I don’t whine when I get sick and goto the doctor every-time; thus I have an awesome immune system. Basically if I’m dead you’ve been dead for three weeks. Seriously though you probably have because you weren’t able to get the care you needed and I died because you weren’t there to produce food for me to eat.
